Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Can Now Have Better Battery Life With Mugen's 6,500mAh Battery And Custom-Made Back Casing

The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is undeniably one of the most powerful smartphones in the market today. But like other smartphones, it performs only above average when it comes to one category - battery life. Battery maker Mugen aims to change all of that as it unveils a huge optional battery for Note 3 owners.

While the Galaxy Note 3 already has a fairly large 3,200mAh battery, it may still be insufficient to last an entire day of moderate to heavy usage. That is why Mugen developed a 6,500mAh option, more than doubling the current stock battery for more peace of mind when using the Droid throughout the day.

According to a blog post by GSM Arena, the huge battery is a little thicker than Samsung's stock battery for the Note 3. As a result, Mugen also developed a custom back casing to enclose the battery easily.

Fortunately, the battery also comes with NFC chip integration in case you're worrying about connectivity issues.

The blog post says Mugen's 6,500mAh battery together with the Mugen back case is available at $98.50 from the manufacturer's website. First shipments are expected to arrive on December 6.
