Upcoming Android Phones 2013: Samsung Galaxy J Featuring Snapdragon 800, 5" Screen Now Official In Japan, Rumored To Get An International Version

There has been a lot of top-notch upcoming Android phones in 2013, and even at this time of the year, manufacturers are poised to give everything they've got. Samsung is one of these companies as it released another high-end device, this time aimed at the Japanese market.

The Galaxy J, which oddly borrows its name from another OEM's model name (Butterfly J), is a massive phone that goes in between the Galaxy S4 and the Galaxy Note 3 both in terms of screen size and design.

In a report by GSM Arena, the Android smartphone boasts a 5-inch display with 1080 resolution, a powerful Snapdragon 800 chipset, and 3GB of RAM among others. While it has been on sale in Japan for the past several days, a new report claims that the device will also make its way into the Taiwanese market.

In the same report, the Galaxy J has allegedly been spotted in the Taiwanese regulatory website while bearing the code number SGH-N075T. Aside from availability in Taiwan, this could also mean that other Asian countries may get the smartphone before the end of the year at the soonest.

The powerful specs as well as the stunning design would surely contribute to the device's marketability in Asia as well as the international market.

The Samsung Galaxy J will come in three different color variations: Coral Pink, Satin White, and Lapis Blue.
