Since it was launched more than two months ago, Grand Theft Auto V has become the most popular gaming title in the eyes of gamers all over the world. In fact, news reports say it managed to clinch half a dozen Guiness world records for its sensational sales run during its first week in the market. And with incremental GTA V update patches such as this one, players and fans surely would never run out of things to do. 

According to a report by Mirror, the game developer has launched the Beach Bum update for the world's most popular game. Named as update 1.06, the patch brings more content to the game. 

Some of the new additions include new weapons such as SNS Pistols, Broken Bottle, and other cool weapons. In addition, there are also new game modes which use the beach setting effectively - beach-themed races, deathmatches, parachutes, last-team standings, survivals and gang attacks. And with a new landscape to master, players would surely have a good time battling and cooperating with friends. 

There are also a number of new rides to bring more flavor to the update. Some new vehicles are the BF Bifta dune buggy, the Canis Kalahari off-road truck, Bravado Paradise beach camper van, and the Speeder speedboat. 

New jobs were also added including Survival on Del Perro Pier, View of Vespucci parachute jump, and the Paleto Beach team deathmatch. 

The update will require 64MB title update, which would trigger a 33.12MB download to supply the new content. The Xbox 360 is already receiving the update, while the PS3 is expected to get it any day from now.
