Being Coach of Team USA finally paid off for Coach Mike Krzyzewski (Coach K) of the Duke Blue Devils.

The first overall ranked recruit Jahlil Okafor (6'10, Center) and top point guard 4th overall ranked Tyus Jones (6'1, Point Guard) who have already decided that they will choose their university together, have both chosen Duke.

In a TV special hosted by ESPN, the two high school players announced their decision simultaneously on split screen. Okafor was in Chicago and Jones was in Minnesota.

The two high schoolers talked about their long friendship and how they have already struck the agreement as early as two years ago to go to college together (which will probably be one year) and they plan to recruit Justise Winslow, a forward and the 9th overall ranked high school player.

Draft Express' Jonathan Givony has called Okafor an 'NBA center' even though he has yet to turn 17. He was one of two players who made it to Team USA U19 squad (Winslow being the other) and he was described as a high IQ player who took on players two years older than he was.

Scout.com's Evan Daniels was asked where he would rank if he was part of the storied 2013 class. Daniels said he would put him at number four behind the phenomenal top three of Andrew Wiggins, Justin Randle and Jabari Parker. Okafor would be the top center though.

And now he will have the top point guard passing to him. Tyus Jones is a spectacular point guard who has been compared to Tony Parker. Coach K of Duke has a sharp eye in recruiting point guards..his most recent triumph being Kyrie Irving who is now an NBA superstar. According to Adam Rowe, the publisher of BlueDevilLair.com, Coach K made a promise to Jones that he will not recruit any other point guard in his class.

Jones was impressed that someone of Coach K's stature kept his word. Both recruits also credit their Team USA experiences for their bonds with Coach K.
