Outkast Reunion: Big Boi and Andre 3000 are finally answering the question, "When will Outkast get back together? April, Outkast will reunite in April. This will be the first time Big Boi and Andre 3000 have been together since 2007. Outkast announced their indefinite hiatus in 2007. Their last album was the 2006 soundtrack to their film, "Idlewild."

Big Boi and Andre 3000, better known as Outkast are planning to reunite for a headline set at Indio, California's, Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival which kicks off on April 11, 2014.

According to an inside source who's been spilling to Billboard magazine Andre 3000 and Big Boi are in negotiations to play the festival as part of a kick-off to a year of reunion gigs. The Outkast reunion tour will include other festival dates.

Coachella is becoming known as the festival that reunites classic groups. In the past few years the Pixies, Rage Against the Machine, My Bloody Valentine, the Stooges and Pavement have all reunited at the fest, In 2012, Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg reunited with a hologram Tupac Shakur.

Outkast's people and their label, Epic Records haven't made any comments. Goldenvoice, the promoter for Coachella hasn't confirmed it, but an inside source told Billboard that there have definitely been "some conversations" about the Outkast reunion. Another source said "all systems are go."

Andre told Spin magazine this year that "I was approached as a solo artist by both Frank Ocean & Tip. I discussed musical direction with each artist and completed my verses. It was after that when Big Boi's name came up. I never want to mislead our audience - I worried that some would think these were Outkast collaborations. These songs are not Outkast collaborations. I discussed this rationale with Big, Frank and T.I. and everyone agreed. That is why I was surprised to read about these remixes."

In 2012 Andre 3000 told GQ there were no plans for an Outkast reunion.
