The "Doctor Who" 50th Anniversary Special is nearly upon us, but before that, fans can catch the minisode called "The Last Day" on iTunes!

This "Doctor Who" 50th Anniversary mini episode has been released on iTunes as a part of the "Doctor Who" 50th Anniversary Collection, featuring behind-the-scenes material and bonus content.

"Featuring the 50th Anniversary episode, this special collection is the definitive celebration of five decades of adventures through space and time with the Doctor and his companions," says the description on iTunes.

But what is "The Last Day" about?

"First day on the front line? Time to attach a Headcam for a soldier's point-of-view. What could possibly go wrong?"

The 3-minute mini episode, written by Steven Moffat, can be downloaded on iTunes for free, but you can also catch the "Doctor Who" episode below:

After "The Day of the Doctor" premieres in theaters and small screens across the world November 22, the "Doctor Who" 50th Anniversary will be released on DVD and Blu-Ray on December 2.

According to DoctorWhoTV, here are all the DVD extras that will accompany the home release.
