Fifty Shades of Grey movie cast are almost filled, as there is only a couple of characters yet to be named in the upcoming movie adaptation of E.L. James' erotica novel.

Fans of the much anticipated movie are getting anxious as to who will play Anastasia Steele's blond bomb shell best friend Kate Kavanagn. With less than few weeks into production, no word from Universal Pictures are coming out as to who will play the coveted role of "laters baby" love interest.

The top six stars who are rumored to play the 22-year old journalist wannabe and best friend of Ana, Katherine "Kate" Kavanagn:

KATRINA BOWDEN

Esquire's "Sexiest Woman Alive" in 2011 and "30 Rock" star Katrina Bowden would be fitting to play Fifty Shades of Grey movie cast Kate as she is known to leave guys "tongue-tied" by her mesmerizing beauty. In September, Enstars was able to interview the 25-year old star who revealed that she's eyeing to be in the movie adaptation of one of her favorite novels.

"Playing Anastasia would be out of my comfort zone, but I could see myself playing her best friend," according to the actress, who stated she would support the film even if she weren't cast. "I love the books, so no matter what, I'll be there when the movie opens."

CARA DELEVINGNE

As reported by U.K.'s the Sun, the print out and runway 21-year old model has auditioned for a Fifty Shades of Grey secondary cast in August. A rather perfect catch for the film hence Kate is described to be having model good looks. "Cara is a front-runner for a part," a source revealed to Sun "She's desperate to get the gig and has always said that she wanted to be taken seriously as an actress."

BLAKE LIVELY

Ryan Reynold's beautiful wife is an ideal Kate Kavanagn. The 26-year old star does not only fit the bill she is also known for playing sophisticated, wealthy and cultured role as a NYC socialite Serena van der  Woodsen on "Gossip Girl." E! News said in a report on Wednesday that would be a perfect candidate for the role as she loves clothes and "all things fashion." Cosmopolitan magazine also considered the fan favorite as one of the top contenders for the role.

AMBER HEARD

Amber Heard was said to have turned down an undisclosed role to be in the Fifty Shades of Grey movie cast, and Johnny Depp was the supposed reason. Johnny Depp's lady love is known for playing kinky roles on-screen, could have been suitable for a character who is described to be overly passionate with her love interest, Elliot Grey. As reported by Gather.com in August, Depp was responsible for Heard to have turned down the role because is was "too smutty."

BROOKLYN DECKER

Gather.com believes that Brooklyn Decker is "a strong prospect for Kate," someone who could be in the Fifty Shades of Grey movie cast, because of her extensive modeling background, but the 26-year old is not interested to star in the movie franchise. On her 2013 interview with Conan, the model disclosed that she had purchased a copy of the Fifty Shades of Grey novel but was not able to finish because of too much sexually language. "It was crazy, wild... I was on a plane reading," according to Decker, saying that the book's contents were inappropriate. "It talks about butt clamps, like, have you ever heard that? ...I haven't finished it yet, I can't continue."

DIANNA AGRON

Dianna Agron being included on the Fifty Shades of Grey movie cast is solely based on assumptions, nevertheless the 27-year old "Glee" star has an amazing number of fan base waiting to see her play the role of Kate. "I wouldn't be surprised if producers took note and called her in to read for the role of the razor-sharp aspiring journalist/Anastasia Steele's roommate," as reported from The Stir in October.
