For the season 4 winter premiere of 'Pretty Little Liars', fans can affirm that Alison is indeed alive and she's not the one who has been buried in the coffin. While the girls are hoping that their problems will eventually come to an end upon finding their friend, they seem to be unaware that Ezra is very determined to pursue his own agenda.

In 'Who's In the Box', Emily asks Alison about the person whom she's desperately hiding from. "I thought I knew. But I was wrong," creepily admits Alison.

A is apparently firm in stopping the girls from finding out the truth about their tormentors. A decides to convey his/her message through Hannah's mouth who was sedated by an unidentified man. Ezra warns Mona that at times, fear can actually pave way for something good. Aria speculates about the monster behind Hannah's sedation which will eventually lead her to Ezra.

Producers of the 'Pretty Little Liars' previously tweeted a hint for the episode: "There's a B in the box. #pllclue" In the upcoming episode, viewers will be able to find out if someone the girls know truly died in place of Alison.

Executive producer Marlene King claims that the show's fourth season will answer many questions and apparently one question which will finally come to an end is, "who's in the box?"
