‘Ridiculous Fishing’ Android Release: One Of The Best iOS Games This 2013 Porting To Android Devices ‘Sooner Than You Think’

'Ridiculous Fishing' Android release may happen soon.

According to The Verge, Ridiculous Fishing Android version is porting to Android. The news was reveald on the blog site of the game developer, Vlambeer, noting that the Ridiculous Fishing Android release may be slated for a schedule that is "sooner than you think."

Giving more information about the Ridiculous Fishing Android release, the blog post reads, "the breakthrough came when we met up with the folks at Apportable, who have a framework that allows them to port the game over to Android. That port is now almost done, and the next time you see us mentioning this should be when it releases."

The iOS game, as described on The Verge site, "is a simple yet addictive game; you play as a fisherman, and must cast your line as far as it will go, avoiding fish along the way. When you reach the depth limit of your line, it'll reel back in, and you then have to catch as many fish as possible, this time avoiding jellyfish as you go. Once you reach the surface, you do what any fisherman worth his salt does; pull out your gun of choice and shoot as many fish as you can."

The website regarded Ridiculous Fishing as one of the best iOS games of 2013. Also, it was the app of the week immediately after the game was launched.

Currently, Ridiculous Fishing is only available on iOS devices.

As for more news about the games from the indie developer, Vlambeer, "Luftrausers" PS Vita release date is delayed as the game will likely arrive early next year. Accordingly, Luftrausers is now complete and already in certification process.

Other games from Vlambeer include "Super Crate Box," "Serious Sam: The Random Encounter" and "Gun Godz."

Expect more news and updates regarding Ridiculous Fishing Android release in the coming weeks.
