"Disney Infinity" game updates will arrive next week.

According to a post on Auto World News, new characters will be coming as part of the Disney Infinity game updates that will be arriving soon.

Reportedly, Disney Interactive will implement princess characters on Disney Infinity this month as Wave 3 arrives. These new characters arriving with Disney Infinity game updates include the popular princess, Rapunzel, from the movie "Tangled."

Similar to what happened in the movie, Rapunzel will be using a frying pan to fight the enemies in Disney Infinity.

Also, included in the Disney Infinity game updates coming next week are characters from the movie "Frozen" named Anna and Elsa. Elsa will be using ice-based powers, which Anna arrives with a grappling hook to battle against the enemies in Disney Infinity.

According to the producer of Disney Infinity, John Vignocchi, "Their arrival will be the biggest rollout of toys for the game since it launched in August."

He further added, "The female characters, especially the Princesses, were among the top requests."

Currently, there are four women out of the 21 characters in Disney Infinity and they are Mrs. Incredible and Violet from "The Incredibles," Holley from "Cars" and Jessie from "Toy Story," citing Jezebel.

Moreover, the game producer further shared, "It's not just about bringing about popular characters, but characters that are really fun."

Disney Infinity has been a very successful game, since it was launched. Reportedly, one million starter packers for the game were already sold and almost 2 million levels that are created in the Toy Box game mode have already been downloaded.

Aside from Rapunzel, Anna and Elsa, below are other characters included in the Disney Infinity Wave 3, as posted on Forbes.com.

• Mickey from Sorcerer's Apprentice
• Phineas and Ferb

When playing "Disney Infinity", players bring toys to life through a special portal. Using Power Discs, the players can create their own worlds within the game.
