Newcastle United will face off against rival Norwich City on Saturday, placing two of the English Premier League's closely followed teams against each other.

Newcastle United, coming out of a 1-0 victory over the Tottenham Hotspurs, is expected to be the favorite in the match.

Newcastle United Manager Alan Pardew said earlier this month that he feels for the fans after the defeat against Manchester City, according to The Mirror.

"We just couldn't get the win they deserved," he said, according to the website.

"I couldn't really ask any more of the players - the performance level was high and we had them in a difficult situation."

Norwich City, coming out of a 3-1 win over West Ham United, is expected to be the underdog in the match but is rumored to give Newcastle United a good game.

Norwich City Manager Chris Hughton said Rickie van Wolfswinkel will come good in the upcoming match, SlySports.com reports.

"It is a small muscular problem in his toe and the difficulty we have had is it is one of those which has taken a little bit longer to heal," Hughton said, according to the website.

"The very good news is it is not a serious injury, but he needs a bit of time to rest it, probably for a maximum of two weeks, and make sure he is 100 per cent, and he will be."
