Top Android Phones 2013: HTC One Max Now Available On Verizon Stores For Only $299 On-Contract

Last month, HTC announced its One max phablet that has been in the rumor mill for months. And as previously stated, this is definitely one of the top Android phones in 2013. And now, it's available on Verizon for $599 off-contract.

Just in case you are looking for a smaller pricetag, the HTC One max is also available for only $299.99 on a two-year contract via Verizon's Edge plan. In this contract, you will pay a monthly fee of $25.22.

The HTC One max is undeniably a sleek device whose design mainly borrows from the HTC One flagship released earlier this year. As a result, it boasts the same impressive metallic design that gives it a premium feel.

Similar to the original, it also has a Snapdragon 600 chipset which may be outdated, but still powerful enough to take on some of the best names in the business. The 1.7Ghz processor and 2GB of RAM also make multi-tasking fast and smooth.

The 4MP UltraPixel camera may be a disappointment though, especially because it does not have optical image stabilization unlike the HTC One.

But what it lacks in the camera portion, it makes up for in its large screen - 4.7 inches of screen estate which is perfect for gaming and movie watching.

Another important feature that is unique on the One max is the fingerprint scanner located at the back, just below the camera lens. It allows for quick access to certain apps - depending on the fingerprint you used to unlock the device.

Overall, the HTC One max may get into the hands of consumers who are vying for impressive design and top performance. Aside from Verizon, Sprint is also offering the device both off and on-contract.
