Cher Lloyd marries her boyfriend of two years, hairdresser, Craig Monk. The songstress surprised her fans when she uploaded a photo of them on her Instagram account with a caption of a simple love heart.

The X-factor alum's representative confirmed the news to MailOnline saying, "Cher and Craig are married but all other details are private."

Cher Lloyd, 20, looked absolutely gorgeous in her strapless white lace gown wearing a simplegold necklace. She's carrying a large bouquet of roses and was wearing a white veil as well.

On the other hand, Craig, 23, looked dashing on his black suit and tie featuring a single white rose on the lapel. He was a little funky wearing an earring on his left ear.

The singer was glowing on her photo with her now husband and the two looked head over heels in love with each other.

Cher Lloyd's wedding date was not revealed, but the caption of the picture that she posted 18/11/2013 suggests that the ceremony probably happened on Monday.

The petite songstress became famous during her stunt on The X Factor in 2010, where she was mentored by Cheryl Cole and landed on the fourth place spot in the finals.

Cheryl Cole was among the first stars to congratulate the newlywed couple through Twitter: "Wow!! Heard your good news. Congratulations @CherLloyd I hope you have many more happy years and memories to come. Cheryl x."

Cher Lloyd's marriage maybe not too surprising to some who follows her since way back in April 2012, she expressed her eagerness to get married when she told the Daily Mirror, "I'm engaged and want to get married as soon as possible. I can't wait."

"I love Craig and he makes me happy. I know I am going to spend the rest of my life with him."

The two met in April 2011 when Monk fitted her hair extensions at the Four salon then he proposed to Lloyd soon after, Cher inked her wedding ring finger with a heart, a few months after the engagement.

The "Swagger Jagger" singer expressed her disappointment about people who are questioning her decision to get engaged in an early age saying, "People are negative no matter what you do. People are always going to say, "She's too young!"

"I'm from a Gypsy background! I'm meant to be married by now. But I'm happy, really happy. I love him to pieces, more than anything in the world, but I don't want people to take that away from me.

'I know I've got my whole life ahead of me, but why not get hitched now?"
