Prince Harry Girlfriend Cressida Bonas Warned Not To Get Engaged To Royal? Brother Says Their Relationship ‘Does Worry Me’

Prince Harry's girlfriend Cressida Bonas was warned by her brother about the consequences of dating a royal like Prince Harry. Will Cressida Bonas be hesitant to get engaged to Prince Harry, following her brother's cautionary words?

Prince Harry, 29, and his girlfriend Cressida Bonas, 24, have been at the center of a lot of media speculation that the two will get engaged by next year, and many are taking bets that another royal wedding is in the wings. But now, Cressida Bonas' brother warns her about the consequences of getting serious with Prince Harry, such as getting engaged or having a wedding.

Jacobi Anstruther-Gough-Calthorpe, 30, spoke to the Evening Standard, and called his half-sister "sweet" and "sensitive," The Mirror reports. He warned her to think about the consequences of getting engaged or marrying into the Royal Family.

The DJ half-brother of Cressida Bonas brought up the example of the intense media attention the Duchess of Cambridge handles on a daily basis since her wedding to Prince William in 2011.

Jacobi said: "Cressida is not a tough cookie at all. She's a very sensitive, sweet girl.

"It's challenging, you can't deny it. It's not something that is easy for anyone dating a royal or marrying into the Family.

"On some level it is different to any other type of fame. It's an invasion of privacy, which is hard.

"There are people who court that but when you spend your life hiding from it, I think that becomes very exhausting. I think it's a very difficult thing," he said.

According to The Mirror, he added that watching the spotlight fall on the Middletons has made him hesitant to approve of the relationship between Prince Harry and his girlfriend Cressida Bonas.

"It does worry me. But sometimes you've just got to go along with life," he said.

The couple has been together for about 18 months.

Jacobi added that he and Cressida's other family - half-sisters Isabella, Georgiana and Pandora - would struggle if they were to become Prince Harry's in-laws, The Mirror reports.
