Lee Jung Mi was the first to be eliminated from K Pop Star after the live auditions.

After the 10 contestants came back on stage following their performances, MC Yoon Do Hyun said that he would announce the elimination. Then he pointed to the team with Baek Ji Woong, Lee Michelle, Lee Seung Hun, Park Je Hyung, and Baek Ah Yeon, and said that no one was eliminated from this team.

Then, Kim Na Yoon, Yoon Hyunsang, Lee Jung Mi, Lee Ha Ee, and Park Jimin were left on stage. Park Jin Young then called Park Jimin and Yang Hyun suk called Yoon Hyun Sang to tell them that they were free to leave the stage. Then, BoA told Lee Ha Ee that she was free to leave as well.

Finally, only Kim Na Yoon and Lee Jung mi were left. Lee Jung Mi admitted that "Today's performance was not my best so I'd expected this. Even if I'm eliminated, I won't have any regrets."Kim Na Yoon said "I'm so anxious and nervous."

Then, Park Jin Young announced "although you had not scored lowest in terms of the judges' points, the SMS and pre-performance voting results unfortunately worked against you," indicating Lee Jung Mi's elimination.

Although she'd said that she would leave without regrets, she teared to hear the announcement. But she added "I'm so thankful to have come this far. I've learned a lot and I'm thankful to have met such great people," thanking the judges multiple times. Even BoA and Park Jin Young teared up and Yang Hyunsuk sat speechless with disappointment.
