Kim Na Yoon failed to make it to the Top 8 in the show "K-Pop Star."

The latest episode was based on the theme "Million-seller Hits" and Kim Na Yoon had been the second to perform on stage, singing Adele's "Set Fire to the Rain."

Contrary to her usual powerful and cute performances, Kim Na Yoon had focused mostly on her vocal skills. Unfortunately, this seemed to have backfired on her as the judges critiqued that "it was too much" "the song did not suit your voice" "your voice is too thin" etc.

After all nine performances, the contestants were called back on stage. After hearing her name being called out for the elimination, Kim Na Yoon burst into tears.

Yang Hyun Suk told her "It must have been difficult coming to Korea for the auditions after living in the U.S. your whole life. But you're still young and you have a bright future ahead of you so I really encourage you to continue pursuing your dream. Good job."

Kim Na Yoon stated that "I learned a lot in the show and it was so much fun. This was one of the most memorable experiences of my life."

Park Je Hyung managed to pull off a good stage with 'Toxic' by Britney Spears and Baek Ji Woong caught the judges' eyes with 'Under the Rain' by Lee Moon Se.

Lee Michelle showed off her vocal skills with Whitney Houston's 'Run To You' and Yoon Hyun Sang put on a calm and collected performance with "Whistle" by Lee Moon Se.

Baek Ah Yeon received raving reviews from the judges with Jo Sung Mo's "Do You Know", and Park Jimin surpassed her usual vocal range with Whitney Houston's "I Have Nothing." Lee Seung Hun reinterpreted Jo Yong Pil's "Bobbed-hair" and Lee Ha Ee made it to the Top 8 with Anita Baker's "Sweet Love."
