K-Pop leading the hallyu wave is also crossing over to drama.

Most recently Jang Keun Suk and SNSD’s Yoona proved their popularity as they went to Japan to film for the highly anticipated KBS drama ‘Love Rain.’

‘Love Rain’ film staff shared on March 12 that the beautiful couple had a huge crowed of fans following wherever they went for the shooting in Hokkaido, Japan.

The shooting on location was covered by Japan’s leading media such as Nikkan Sports and Sankei Sports, introducing the upcoming drama series.

“All the location set featuring Jang Keun Suk and Yoona was filled with large number of fans. It was really unexpected to see such a large crowd. It was confusing for us to see whether we were in Korea or Japan. Japanese fans seemed excited to see both of the stars,” shared a film production staff.

It’s interesting to see a large crowd of fans gathered to see the drama that has yet to be broadcasted. The first episode of ‘Love Rain’ will air on March 26.
