Actor Jung Il Woo got injured while filming for the last episode of the MBC drama 'The Moon that Embraces the Sun.'

Jung Il Woo's agency Fantagio said on March 14, "Jung Il Woo hurt his right thumb while filming for the last episode at the MBC drama filming set."

The agency said that Jung Il Woo's index finger was slit about 2cm down, which was enough to see the bone. They said, "Even with the bad injury, Jung Il Woo tried his best for the important scene of the last episode."

One representative from the filming set said, "It was a scene that required a lot of cooperation with many actors in the scene, but there unfortunately was an injury. We realized how professional Jung Il Woo is at, he continued acting as if nothing happened, and went back to acting again. Thanks to him, we were able to finish our last filming well."
