UK The Guardian Feature ‘The Boys’ of Girls’ Generation

The UK newspaper The Guardian introduces ‘The Boys’ by Girls’ Generation in their ‘Now listening: reader playlist’ that invites a reader to share the songs they listen to.

The group is introduced as “Girl's Generation, having already conquered Asia, are currently taking first steps to cracking the west with their latest single The Boys. Eschewing the standard four-member lineup of typical girl groups, Korea's finest boast nine impeccably groomed, perfectly pitched and exquisitely choreographed young ladies who deal exclusively in hypnotically catchy numbers.”

Adding that the girls are “Less a band, more a force of nature.”

The girls popularity began when they made their official debut in US mainstream media on the popular CBS late night show ‘The Late Show With David Letterman,’ leading to appearances on ABC talk show ‘Live! With Kelly,’ and NBC entertainment program ‘Extra TV.’

Girls’ Generation is currently busy with the member’s individual schedule. Yuri will be starring on SBS ‘Fashion King,’ while Yoona also on KBS ‘Love Rain.’
