Metal Gear Solid 5 Release Date Version For Next-Generation Console Includes New Features? Microsoft Announces Exclusive Content For Game On Xbox One

Microsoft announced on Friday that it will produce exclusive content on the Xbox One for Metal Gear Solid 5: Ground Zeroes, leaving many gamers which new features the next-generation console version will include.

The announcement was made during Spike TV's live broadcast of the event, held in Times Square's Best Buy Theater, Polygon.com writes.

Host Geoff Keighley said exclusive content for Ground Zeroes would be released for Microsoft's console when the game launches next year but no further details were shared on what the exclusive content contains or if it will come to both Xbox One and Xbox 360, Polygon.com also writes.

Kojima Productions is "running tests" to determine if Metal Gear Solid 5: Ground Zeroes and The Phantom Pain will support Remote Play on the Playstation Vita.

However, the developer has not confirmed the full production of the capability.

"We're still trying to put together how much we can fit into the next game," Kojima told the Playstation Blog, according to GameSpot.com.

"We're running tests, and Remote Play is impressive and I like it. So we're running tests and still working on the game."

Konami has updated the game's site with an official plot synopsis revealing that it will feature a déjà vu mission, which sees the original Metal Gear Solid's first mission recreated, VG247.com writes.

The game segment will be set in 1975 and will feature Snake's mercenary group MSF, nuclear conflict and interrogation at United States military facilities in Cuba.
