GTA 5 PC Release Date News: Computer Graphics As Good As PS4, Xbox One Versions? Speculation Suggests Rockstar Games Plans To ‘Put The Same Work’ In PC Release

Rockstar Games has not released any information on an official release date for Grand Theft Auto 5 PC version, but new speculation suggests its graphics will be on par with the game's next-generation console versions.

"If Rockstar are going to spend the time to make the GTA V PC version more impressive from a graphics point of view, then surely there is a hint of hope that they could be planning to put the same work in to bring out surprise PS4 and Xbox One versions," Product-Reviews.net writes.

"Presuming all three versions are on the way in 2014 on PC, Xbox One and PS4, can you imagine how amazing the game is going to look graphically? GTA V already looks amazing on PS3 and Xbox 360 - arguably the best looking game ever on the last-generation hardware, although The Last of Us may also be in with a shout."

Earlier rumors suggest Grand Theft Auto 5 will be released within the first quarter of 2014, pointing to an beginning-of-year release.

Speculations also suggests computer mods for the game will be better than current Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 versions.

"Mods on PS3 and Xbox 360 are possible, but not as flexible with mods as the PC is. For consoles people can't create things such as the crossbows, normal bows, zombies, driving etc. because they require new models and animations - these can't be done in current generation of consoles," Society and Religion writes.

"All you can really do with Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3 is change some scripts and "make" new vehicles by just mixing current in-game models."
