‘Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas’ Mobile Version Coming This December For Android, iOS, Kindle And Windows Phone; Game To Feature Brand New Controls

The release date for the upcoming mobile version of "Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas" has been announced.

According to Rockstar Games, "Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas" will arrive this December. It will be available for major mobile platforms including Android, iOS, Kindle and Windows Mobile.

Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas will join two other GTA apps on iOS, the "Grand Theft Auto: Vice City" and "Grand Theft Auto 3."

The official post on the Rockstar Games website regarding the mobile launch of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas reads, "Encompassing Los Santos, San Fierro, Las Venturas and everything in between, Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas has been upgraded for its mobile release."

The mobile version of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas also brings in improvements and upgrades, as there will be "Newly remastered graphics including dynamic and detailed shadows, greater draw distance, an enriched color palette, plus enhanced character and car models" to create the best-looking version of San Andreas.

Fans of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas should expect brand new touch controls, which include "contextual control options to display buttons only when you need them." There will also be three different control schemes for maneuvering and driving. The updated version of Grand Theft Auto: Sand Andreas will also come with a refreshed checkpoint system.

 Furthermore, no further details regarding Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas release was announced, except from the December launch. However, Rockstar Games promised that there will be more information about GTA: San Andreas "in the weeks ahead."

Aside from the release schedule of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, it was also revealed that the mobile version will have support for Made for iPhone game controllers, similar to Moga's Ace Power and Logitech's PowerShell, as posted on Apple Insider.

So, as Rockstar Games said, expect more news and details regarding Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas in the coming weeks.
