Kingdom Hearts 3 Release Date Trailer Released ‘Too Early?” Director Tetsuya Nomura Says Expo Announcement May Have Been Premature

Kingdom Hearts 3 release date has not been announced, but director Tetsuya Nomura said the game's Expo announcement may have been "too early," according to the Christian Post.

"I believe that many fans were feeling impatient due to our continuous releases of spin-off titles, so we decided to announce it at the same time as Final Fantasy XV," Nomura told Famitsu.

"However...I think we may have announced it a little too early."

The release date version of Kingdom Hearts 3 will include two new skills for the game's protagonist, Sora.

"In the video [gameplay trailer], we noticed that Sora had gotten two new skills. The first skill involves the keyblade transformation. Sora's keyblade would transform into a new weapons which would take an effect on the battle style. The transformation would depend on the type of keyblade Sora used," MonitoringCrunch.com reports.

"The Second move would be the one where Sora can use attraction rides from Disney to attack enemies. In the trailer, we can see Sora uses the Big Magic Mountain and the Pirate Ship. This attack is called the Attraction Flow and it is the evolution of the Kingdom Hearts 3D's Flowmotion. Sora would also be able to attack even during the enemy outbreak."

Square Enix recently announced that they would soon focus more attention on online-based titles, leaving many gamers wondering if the release date of Kingdom Hearts 3 will be delayed.
