Upcoming Android Phones 2013: Xolo Announces Q500, Packs 4" Display, Quad-Core CPU, 1GB RAM, Dual-SIM Support, 5MP Camera At Only $130

Xolo may not be the most popular brand today, but for India, it is the closest they get to both affordability and quality. And as December approaches, the manufacturer unveils its next phone that would surely be an option for those budget-conscious buyers. 

The new phone, dubbed as the Q500 is an entry-level device that has been released today by Xolo. It offers decent specs at such an affordable pricetag. If you want to delve in the details, here are some specifications.

The Xolo Q500 packs a 4-inch display with WVGA resolution and 233ppi pixel density, a Snapdragon MSM8225Q S4 Play chipset, a quad-core Cortex-A5 CPU clocked at 1.2Ghz, 1GB of RAM, and Adreno 203 GPU for good graphical performance. 

At the back is the 5MP camera that can shoot 720p videos, together with several connectivity options, including dual-SIM support which is ideal for several target markets such as India and China. There is also a VGA camera in front. 

Under the hood, the Q500 has a 1,450mAh battery, 4GB of internal memory with optional microSD expansion of up to 32GB, and Android 4.1 Jelly Bean out of the box. 

According to the report by GSM Arena, the Q500 will retail at INR 7,999 or about $130.
