Prince Harry Spending Thousands Of Dollars To Keep In Touch With Girlfriend Cressida Bonas While In Antarctica; Missing Each Other ‘Terribly’

Prince Harry is reportedly spending thousands of dollars to keep in touch with his girlfriend Cressida Bonas, while they spend a month apart. Prince Harry is away in Antarctica for a charity trek that lasts until mid-December.

According to the Daily Mail, Prince Harry has been spending £5 per minute to keep in touch with his girlfriend Cressida Bonas during his charity trek in Antarctica. Harry, 29, chatted with Cressida, 24, on a £1,200 Iridium satellite phone from the base camp where he and his Walking With The Wounded team-mates were snowed in until Friday.

ShowbizSpy.com reports that this converts to about $10 per minute on a $2000 phone.

That's one expensive phone call! But as they say, love knows no bounds.

"Harry has been using the phone to check in with Cress," a source told the Daily Mail. "They miss one another terribly."

Before heading out on his charity trek, Prince Harry reportedly gave Cressida a token of his love: his Help For Heroes bracelet he has worn for years, Entertainmentwise reports.

Meanwhile, as we previously reported, Cressida Bonas was also spotted wearing something else of Harry's while shopping on King's Road in London. Cressida was photographed wearing a limited-edition scarf from Prince Harry's charity, Sentebale, which helps raise money for orphans with AIDS in the African kingdom of Lesotho, Enstarz reports. The "Kobo Earth" scarf is worth about $293.90 (£180).

The Daily Mail reports that Cressida Bonas' choice of wearing the scarf while Prince Harry is away in Antarctica is "a sign of the ever-increasing seriousness of their relationship."

Their strong bond, even despite their distance, is sparking speculation that their relationship isn't going away anytime soon.

Do we hear wedding bells or a future engagement for the Prince and his former dance student girlfriend?
