Miley Cyrus Liam Hemsworth Break Up Starts Three-Way Fight? ‘Wrecking Ball’ Singer Fires Back After Jennifer Lawrence’s ‘Young Sex Sells’ Comment

Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth's break up may have sparked a new feud - the "Wrecking Ball" singer fired back at Jennifer Lawrence after her recent comment that "young sex sells."

Jennifer Lawrence, who is also Liam Hemsworth's new Catching Fire co-star, was asked about the use of sexuality in entertainment during an interview with BBC's Newsnight, with the interviewer mentioning Miley Cyrus' name as an example, EntertainmentWise.com writes.

"It's a part of the entertainment industry that sells - sex sells. And for some disgusting reason, young sex sells even more," she said, according to the website.

"It's not really something that I worry about because I feel like everybody's kind of got their own path and they have their own way of finding themselves. And for some people, that's how they feel best, that's how they feel sexy, that's how they want to perform. ... I'm just saying, to each their own."

But Miley Cyrus might not have appreciated the comments.

"Miley feels like Jennifer always tries to act like a feminist in all her interviews, but then poses in a revealing dress to promote her film. That seems so fake to her," a source told Heat magazine, according to EntertainmentWise.com.

Miley Cyrus is poised as one of the leading contenders in TIME Magazine's "Person of the Year" poll, leaving many fans wondering if her breakup with Liam Hemsworth helped her gain more attention.

The "Queens of Twerk" is currently leading in a poll of the year's most buzzed about names, pulling in 24 percent of the vote, according to the New York Daily News. Apparently, she beat out Pope Francis, Edward Snowden and Malala Yousafzai.
