Kingdom Hearts 3's protagonist character will acquire two new skill sets for the upcoming game, Siliconera.com reports, leaving many gamers wondering if Sora's abilities will improve.

The first skill is being able to transform the keyblade into new styles of weapon, which was shown in the game's trailer, SidhTech.com reports.

The second skill allows Sora to use attraction rides from Disney to attack foes - in the trailer you see her using the pirate ship and Big Magic Mountain, and it appears that she can use these moves automatically, SidhTech.com also reports.

Kingdom Hearts 3's video trailer was revealed during a televised special celebrating the launch of Xbox One, and one website says it was one of the "most notable appearances."

Microsoft held the event last week, which featured a montage of clips including a mix of exclusive software products and multiplatform titles, according to Examiner.com.

"The most notable appearances are Final Fantasy XV and Kingdom Hearts 3," the website writes.

"The two action role-playing games were initially announced for the PS4 and the Xbox One during the 2013 edition of the Electronic Entertainment Expo."

Although the game's release date has not been announced, director Tetsuya Nomura said the game's Expo announcement may have been "too early."

"I believe that many fans were feeling impatient due to our continuous releases of spin-off titles, so we decided to announce it at the same time as Final Fantasy XV," Nomura told Famitsu.

"However...I think we may have announced it a little too early."
