Square Enix revealed that it will offer a collection of deals at its online store for Thanksgiving, Joystiq.com reports, leaving many gamers wondering when the company will make an announcement about the highly-anticipated Kingdom Hearts 3.

The company has not yet announced an official release date for the game.

Kingdom Hearts 3's video trailer was revealed during a televised special celebrating the launch of Xbox One, and one website says it was one of the "most notable appearances."

Microsoft held the event last week, which featured a montage of clips including a mix of exclusive software products and multiplatform titles, according to Examiner.com.

"The most notable appearances are Final Fantasy XV and Kingdom Hearts 3," the website writes.

"The two action role-playing games were initially announced for the PS4 and the Xbox One during the 2013 edition of the Electronic Entertainment Expo."

Although the game's release date has not been announced, director Tetsuya Nomura said the game's Expo announcement may have been "too early."

"I believe that many fans were feeling impatient due to our continuous releases of spin-off titles, so we decided to announce it at the same time as Final Fantasy XV," Nomura told Famitsu.

"However...I think we may have announced it a little too early."
