Moto X Android 4.4 KitKat Update: New OS Continuing To RollOut To Verizon Users & Now U.S. Cellular Owners Of Motorola’s Flagship

Moto X Android 4.4 KitKat update: Motorola’s flagship is now being updated to the latest mobile OS that was announced by Google last month. According to Gotta Be Mobile, Motorola is surprising everyone in the mobile market when it pushed the update to the Verizon Moto X just two weeks after Google’s announcement.

The Moto X Android 4.4 KitKat update continues to more users and GBM notes that it will also soon be available on U.S. Cellular. The regional carrier is one of the last to receive the Android 4.4 KitKat update, the rollout beginning today and will bring with it new enhancements and features aside from the KitKat upgrades.

According to GBM, the U.S. Cellular Moto X will enjoy all the new features of Android 4.4 KitKat like the new white font, improved lockscreen music controls, an overhauled phone dialer with Google search and a better Google Now version. Regular Moto X changes will bring in tweaks and improvements to the touchless controls, better active notifications and a better functioning camera.

The Moto X Android 4.4 KitKat update for U.S. Cellular owners is expected to begin on a slow rollout and will be completed in the next couple of weeks, most probably just before the end of the year. GBM notes that Moto X users can get the update by going into settings, then about phone, and check for updates.

Taking this new Moto X Android 4.4 KitKat update into account, it will leave Sprint as the only carrier to have yet to rollout the update for to their Moto X-carrying subscribers.
