LG G Flex Release Date For International Market Begins, Will First Hit Singapore And Hong Kong

When it was launched a week after the Samsung Galaxy Round was announced, the LG G Flex was seen as a similar handset. However, it greatly impressed experts and analysts with its display that actually flexes and the self-healing back cover. Now, the LG G Flex release date is underway and begins in the Korean manufacturer's Asian neighbors.

In a report by Android Authority, the handset will begin its international market rollout next week in Hong Kong and Singapore, where the mobile market is booming. Specifically, the G Flex will first hit Singapore on December 8, and then Hong Kong on the 13th.

Eventually, the curved and 'slightly' flexible phone will hit other Asian markets as well until the end of the year. Then, it will make its way to Europe and the US, where previous rumors are pointing to partnerships with several carriers such as AT&T, Sprint, and T-Mobile.

In case you are curious and thinking whether you would get your hands on this sleek device, here are some specifications you may find useful in making your decision. The G Flex boasts some impressive specs in both hardware and software. It sports a 6-inch 720p display, a quad-core 2.26Ghz CPU powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 chipset, and 2GB of RAM.

The device also comes with a 13MP primary camera, a hefty 3,500mAh battery, and Android Jelly Bean out of the box, hopefully with an KitKat update soon.
