As "Once Upon a Time" season 3 nears its mid-season finale, spoilers confirm that two new cast members have been added!

According to TVLine, the casting call which many speculated to be for Tiara has been confirmed to be Rapunzel, who will join "Once Upon a Time" season 3 with Alexandra Metz portraying the iconic character.

"For Episode 14, the show is casting the possibly recurring role of a teenage African-American female who comes across as skittish and timid, having had her naturally curious and determined spirit tempered by years of crippling fear," wrote Matt Mitovich about the original casting call.

By the time Rapunzel joins "Once Upon a Time" season 3, spoilers confirm that the series will focus primarily on Storybrooke.

In addition, spoilers confirm that "Once Upon a Time" season 3 will also introduce a new villain, played by "Lost" alum Rebecca Mader.

According to E! Online, the identity of Mader's villainous character is being kept under wraps, but the mid-season finale on December 15 will reveal the mystery.

Reportedly, the "Once Upon a Time" mid-season finale will air a promo advertising the second half of season 3, where fans will get a glimpse of Mader's character.

After the mid-season finale, "Once Upon a Time" season 3 will take a hiatus until March 9.
