Samsung Galaxy Note 4 Release Date: Next-Gen Camera With Groundbreaking Features Plus 64-Bit Processor Rumored Specs Of Upcoming Device

Samsung Galaxy Note 4: The next phablet from Samsung will have a 64-bit processor inside, able to compete with the new iPad’s A7 chip. A Samsung U.K. representative said that the company and ARM had a meeting to discuss the ARM 64-bit chip for the rumored phablet. A Korean-based publication reported that “Cortex-M processors, which are used for products in the smart home system, might have been on the agenda.”

The processor in the upcoming phablet is not the only specs that has been rumored as of late. According to Highlight Press, a key Samsung executive speaking at a recent conference in Seoul confirmed that the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 will have a groundbreaking 16MP ISOCELL camera. The new camera specs will deliver the best pictures ever produced by a handset, though there are some reports that the camera can be up to 20MP.

The ISOCELL technology is said to use individual pixel isolation and produces picture quality and clarity never before seen in any smartphone. The new camera technology should allow for massive improvement from low-light picture shooting and other very challenging situations.

Highlight Press noted that recent advancements made by newcomers like Nokia and Sony in the area of smartphone camera specs has heightened the stakes for market leaders Samsung, Apple and Google. Early this year Nokia released a Windows Phone-based handset with a 41MP PureView camera with Optical Image Stabilization, making the device the smartphone with the best camera in the market. Sony Xperia Z1, the flagship handset of the Japanese tech giant has a 20.7MP camera.

Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is highly anticipated to be released by the September of next year, but many analysts and tech watchers are speculating that we’ll see more rumors of the device’s specs by early next year when the Consumer Electronics Show and Mobile World Congress commences.

The Galaxy Note series is the highest-end of all devices and its current model, Samsung Galaxy Note 3, is the first Samsung device to be able to support the company’s flagship wearable gadget, Samsung Galaxy Gear.
