Pianist Yiruma appeared on famous TV show in Germany.

Yiruma performed together with Deutsche Showballet Berlin, it was broadcasted through 'Welcome to Carmen Nebel’s show' on ZDF.

'Welcome to Carmen Nebel’s show' targets middle age viewers of 30 to 50 the program previously featured Chinese pianist Lang Lang as the first Asian to appear on the show and Yiruma as the first Korean.

Yiruma gained popularity in Europe through YouTube and SNS and seeing his popularity the German officials were persistent to have Yiruma to appear on the show.

Yiruma was also invited to 'Germany Echo Music Awards 2012,’ held on March 22 which was also attended by famous pop stars such as Marilyn Manson, Jason Mraz, and Katy Perry. Yiruma who attended the awards and after party received an explosion of interest by German and European music industry representatives.

Sony Music representative of Yiruma shared, "The reaction of local was way more than Yiruma expected. We’ve been receiving many love calls regarding future concerts and album releases in Europe.” Yiruma plans to continue his effort to release an album in Europe.
