iPad Pro Rumors: 4 Reasons Why Building A Larger iPad Is The Right Direction For Apple

There have been lots of iPad Pro rumors lately, and for good reason - anyone may have already imagined how stunning it would look like especially if it's powered by Retina display. However, is this the right direction to take for Apple and its tablet lineup?

Here are four reasons why building a bigger iPad makes sense:

1. It fills the gap

At 12.9 inches, the rumored iPad Pro may not seem to fill the gap between the 9.7" iPad Air and the 13" MacBooks Airs and Pros as far as dimensions are concerned, but it is able to get the job done in price range. Right now, the iPad Air comes at $499 while the 11" MacBook Air costs $999. There's a $500-difference between the two where the iPad Pro's price can squeeze in.

2. More screen estate, more fun

The iPad Air's screen looks sufficient for most Apple users, but there also those consumers who prefer larger devices with dimensions similar to that of Android. While there is currently no Android tablet that has over 12 inches in display, Apple may pioneer the display size once again like wgat it did with the iPad mini. And knowing Apple, the company would not just improve the screen, but probably the CPU and battery as well.

3. We are moving toward a PC-less world

Apple has its MacBooks to go up against the PCs, but eventually computers and laptops would feel too large to take to a trip. Whereas, bringing a larger iPad instead can equal or even increase productivity while greatly improving portability.

4. Apple creates premium quality products

For the past years, Apple has been seen as the pioneer in a lot of areas in the computer and smartphone industries, and creating a 12.9" tablet would surely be another work of art for the Cupertino company. Once this rumor pans out to be true, the ultimate winner would be consumers as more and more tablet options would be available for every budget possible.
