Heidi Klum's modeling career for lingerie labels is officially over after announcing her retirement from such type of projects. As opposed to speculations that she will stop because of her boyfriend's wishes, the 40-year-old says that reaching her age gave her the opportunity to contemplate on her career path.

The 'Project Runway' host says that she doesn't want to walk the runway anymore if she will be clad only in lingerie: "I wouldn't model with my underwear down the runway anymore. I think that would feel a little uncomfortable."

Nonetheless, it does not mean that the mother of four will stop modeling for good. "I still do photoshoots for [magazine] covers and different things or advertising stuff," says the former Victoria's Secret Angel.

Now that she is 40, will she be willing to go under the knife to maintain her body?

Klum explains that she fear surgical procedure specifically Botox. She says that between Botox and bangs, she will choose the latter to reinvent her image.

"I've never had any [cosmetic procedures]. I've been too scared, to be honest with you. I'm scared that all of a sudden you're changing too much, your face starts changing, I don't know. I would have a hard time looking in the mirror and seeing something that I'm not used to seeing. I'd be afraid."

Apart from being occupied with her hosting jobs in 'Project Runway' and the German version of 'Next Top Model', the former wife of Seal is likewise designing clothes for her children's line, Babies R Us.

The former Sports Illustrated model is currently dating Martin Kristen, her bodyguard for the past 4 years who hails from South Africa.
