Elder Scrolls Online Release Date: PC Game Allows Users To Re-Spec Character Attributes, Skill Points? Developers Reveal New Information During Q&A

Elder Scrolls Online developer Bethesda revealed during a recent question-and-answer segment with fans that gamers will be able to re-spec their character's attributes and skill points, Joystiq.com reports.

"You'll be able to re-allocate attribute or skill points. To do so, you'll need to visit a shrine and pay a fee in gold. You could, however, just decide to start taking your character in a different direction, and you'll likely garner all the points you need to do so as you progress," the developers revealed in their "Ask Us Anything" online question-and-answer segment.

"Abilities will morph when you reach a certain level with them. Morphing does require you to spend a skill point, though, so there is a cost associated with it."

Earlier this week, Bethesda revealed that they have "faced some unique challenges," leaving many gamers wondering if there will be release date issues surrounding the game.

"Being both an Elder Scrolls game and an online RPG, we've faced some unique challenges," the publisher said in an online post.

"In Elder Scrolls games, your character can do anything, and, after much adventure, almost everything. In multiplayer games, though, it can be important to stand out from the crowd. How would we preserve a distinct Elder Scrolls feel but give still everyone the opportunity to develop an identity?"

Elder Scrolls Online developers released a new video revealing new information about character-building options in the game, giving users more options for creation.
