iPhone 6 Rumors: New Patent For Curved Displays Awarded To Apple, Could Be Seen First In The Next iPhone

Months after the iPhone 5s was launched, iPhone 6 rumors started flowing, filling the hype juice for a device that hasn't been announced yet. However, this recent news may have confirmed one of these speculations.

In a report by BGR, Apple has just been awarded a patent for curved displays in the US, once more igniting rumors of a curved iPhone 6. The patent was awarded to the Cupertino manufacturer on Tuesday, a little over three years after Apple first filed for a 'curved touch sensor'.

Now that Apple has the patent to work on curved displays, there's nothing that could stop them in doing so, and placing them on their upcoming devices, including the iPhone 6, the rumored iPad Pro, and even the upcoming iWatch.

Indeed, Samsung and LG paved the way for this innovation, but knowing Apple, the company will surely go through the slow but revolutionary way of bringing these curved devices to the market.
