Victoria’s Secret 2013 Angel Candice Swanepoel Reveals What’s It Like To Wear A $10 Million-Worth Bra; South African Beauty Says Models Are Not 'Airheads'

The 2013 Victoria's Secret fashion show is unquestionably filled with stunning women but for Candice Swanepoel, models should not be deemed as airheads. The blonde bombshell has high respect for her fellow Victoria's Secret 2013 angels who have exerted effort and discipline in their respective modeling careers.

For the South African beauty, it is not enough to be pretty: 'There are so many beautiful girls around that you need more than that. It's really about being smart now and turning it into a business."

Despite appearing confident, she recalls how opening this year's fashion show made her nervous: "You know, opening the show was really scary 'cause you kinda starting off the energy. Victoria's Secret [always] chooses amazing performers - we have Taylor Swift, Neon Jungle. It's different every year, so that's what makes it more fun."

The highlight of this year's lingerie show is the Royal Fantasy Bra which amounted to $10 million. Swanepoel is the chosen model to flaunt the bejeweled lingerie. It's more of, kind of, the legacy of it - the fantasy of wearing it and being chosen to wear it. Not so much of its cost, because I don't get to keep it," says the 25-year-old supermodel.

She likewise considers the experience very "special" since the Royal Fantasy Bra was custom-made for her. Apart from the bra which required two bodyguards, Swanepoel likewise had other favorite pieces in the segments: "Every outfit is so unique, and all the segments are so different as well, so each one has a little special place to me."
