Porsha Stewart Changes Last Name To Williams [VIDEO] RHOA Refuses Confidentiality Agreement Letting Her Talk Smack About Her Ex On RHOA

Porsha Stewart changes her last name to Williams giving Kordell some relief. The NFL player doesn't want to be associated with Porsha and The Real Housewives Of Atlanta anymore. However Porsha refuses to sign a confidentiality agreement with Kordell's lawyers that would force her to stay mum about her marriage and divorce to the NFL player. So changing her last name didn't really accomplish much for Mr. Stewart. GO Porsha!

Kordell's lawyers are livid that Porsha Williams wouldn't sign the agreement saying that she wouldn't be able to discuss Kordell at all on Real Housewives Of Atlanta. And Porsha has taken advantage of this and talks about Kordell a Lot! Williams was smart not to give in to Kordell Stewart, as she has through out their entire relationship. It's about time Porsha stands up for herself and doesn't need help from a man to make her own choices (although her lawyer is a man).

Without the juicy gossip about her tumultuous relationship, Porsha Williams storyline would go cold and her spot on RHOA would be in jeopardy. Porsha talks freely about how messed up her relationship was with is controlling behavior and wavering sexuality.

Her painful split is a highlight on this season of Real Housewives of Atlanta. It brings all the ladies together, joining forces against Kordell and helping the youngest Housewife find her way back from hell with Kordell.

Also Porsha's therapy appointments, talking about her marriage, have been a focal point on RHOA. It makes for interesting TV that many viewers can relate to.

Porsha discovers the unhealthy manner of her marriage.

The therapist confirms that Porsha looked up to Kordell more as a father figure than as a lover.

The therapist helped Porsha see the real problems in her marriage asking difficult questions to the Atlanta Housewife, who lost her own father at 17.

She learns that her relationship with Kordell was extremely controlling and unhealthy.

"Was your name on the deed? Was your name on the bank accounts?" the therapist asks.

The reality star shook her head, realizing her lack of control in her marriage.

"You could have been a hired help to take care of it," the therapist tells her. "When you have no funds and resources, you become quite dependent on someone."

Porsha responds, "That's what I thought being a wife was."

"Did you really have a husband or did you have a father?" the doctor bluntly asks.

"I think it was more like a father, but that's what attracted me to him because my father died when I was 17 years old. My father always had a plan for his family. I trusted him to provide for me, and I thought that Kordell had that characteristic."

The therapist lets Porsha know "The reality is, it's not the same relationship. You don't sleep with your father."

Porsha broke down asking through tears, "Then why did he marry me?"

The therapist asks the most important question of all to the RHOA star:

 "Why did you marry him?"

This makes for some great television and if Porsha broke down and actually signed the document, RHOA would be pretty stale.

DO you think Porsha made the right decision not signing the contract?
