Minecraft PS3 Release Date: PlayStation 3 Version Of Sandbox Game Not Yet Ready For Certification Testing; 4J Studios Shows Sneak Peek Of Upcoming Edition

Fans may still have to wait for a little longer before Minecraft PS3 release date finally happens.

4J Studios has not announced an official Minecraft PS3 release date yet, but it seems that the highly-anticipated version of the hit open-world sandbox game may not arrive until a few more weeks. Even though there is no confirmed Minecraft PS3 release date yet, the game company has recently showed a sneak peek of the upcoming game via Twitter post.

The photo posted y 4J Studios on Twitter shows a new Xbox 360 console with Minecraft bundle. Furthermore, the background depicts the Minecraft PS3 version of the game, according to various comments on the post.

Earlier, 4J Studios game company announced that Minecraft PS3 release date will be set for a schedule earlier than the arrival of other upcoming console versions. The company said that they are hard at work on porting Minecraft to PS3.

Despite the delay for other versions of the game to concentrate on Minecraft PS3 release date, the game developer has recently revealed that the Xbox One and the PS4 versions are not far behind. Examiner posted, "4J Studios announced on Dec 8 that they currently have the game working on both next-gen consoles but they still have a lot of bugs to fix before the new editions are ready for release."

As for the progress of the Minecraft PS3 version, 4J Studios explained that the game is not yet ready for a certification testing, though "the number of known issues with the PS3 game client is apparently getting smaller by the day," as posted on International Digital Times.
