Sony Xperia Z1 Mini Specs Leaked In FCC Filing, Boasts 4.3" 720p Display, Snapdragon 800, And 20.7MP Camera, Could Launch Early Next Year

If you have been looking for news about the Sony Xperia Z1 mini, then this one would surely make your day.

In a report by GSM Arena, the Droid from Sony has reportedly passed FCC in the US, further cementing previous claims of a North America release, probably early next year.

The Z1 mini, otherwise known as Xperia Z1s, based its design on Sony's current flagship, the Xperia Z1 phablet. However, what separates it from most 'mini's in the market is that the Japanese manufacturer did not downgrade its CPU speed as well as its performance, making the smaller Z1 even more power-efficient than the larger one.

A couple of months ago, the Xperia Z1 mini officially landed in Japan, but few details since then prove that it would arrive to US shores.

In case you haven't read about the Xperia Z1s yet, it sports a compact 4.3" display with 720p resolution, a Snapdragon 800 chipset and the same 20.7MP Exmor camera for high quality snapshots.

Latest rumors from all over the Web claim that the upcoming Xperia Z1s will launch some time in Q1 2014, with a possible pricetag of about $590.
