‘Pretty Little Liars’ Season 4 Poster Excessively Photoshopped? Ashley Benson Deems Poster Unattractive: ‘We All Look Ridiculous’

The 'Pretty Little Liars' Season 4 might look glamorous for its viewers but for actress Ashley Benson, the poster is enough to irritate her.

In the reportedly teaser post of 'Pretty Little Liars' Season 4, the lead stars of the thriller series are clad in black. Benson, who plays the role of Hanna Marin in 'Pretty Little Liars' Season 4, says that the promotional poster has been excessively altered.

She expressed her feelings through her Twitter and Instagram accounts:

"Saw this floating around....hope it's not the poster, Our faces in this were from 4 years ago.....and we all look ridiculous, Way too much photo shop. We all have flaws. No one looks like this. It's not attractive."

Fans were quick to praise the young actress for voicing out what she feels about the digitally modified poster.

"Respect to @AshBenzo for her last Instagram post. Too much Photoshop sets unrealistic expectations for young girls," says Twitter user Catherine Powell.

Another Instagram user with the name "julian_antho" believes more people in Hollywood should be like Benson: "Only liking how real you are in the caption about this photo, more celebs need to say things like this."

The 24-year-old actress noticed the support of her fans and acknowledged them in another post: "On another note. Super sick in bed. Reading all of your tweets. Love you guys so much. The constant support and love I get from all of you makes me so happy. Hope you all are having an amazing week. Remember, you are ALL beautiful, Please don't ever try and look like the people you see in the magazines or posters because it's fake. It only causes an unhealthy mind about how you see yourself. You are perfect the way you are.

'Pretty Little Liars' Season 4 will be returning next year which brings more curiosity for the fans because their favorite girls will be facing a new enemy.
