Free Comic Book Day 2014: Free Avatar The Last Airbender Comic To Be Included With Guardians Of The Galaxy, Spongebob, And More!

Although "The Legend of Korra" Book 2 has ended, fans will be able to relieve the Avatar universe during Free Comic Book Day 2014 next May!

According to artist Faith Erin Hicks, she will be illustrating a free "Avatar: The Last Airbender" comic for Free Comic Day 2014 with the story written by Gene Luen Yang.

"I was incredibly fortunate to be asked to draw a short Avatar: The Last Airbender comic (10 pages) for Dark Horse's Free Comic Book Day offerings! Being a giant ATLA nerd, I was BEYOND thrilled to contribute to that world in a small way," wrote Hick on her Tumblr.

"We're all big fans of Faith's work and very excited to work her for a short spell before she vanishes into the Nameless City," added "The Legend of Korra" creator Bryan Konietzko.

This "Avatar: The Last Airbender" comic will be attached with Hellboy and Rexodus in a book for Free Comic Book Day 2014.

For Free Comic Book Day 2014, "Avatar: The Last Airbender" will be one of 12 books available for graphic novel fans.

The others include "Hello Kitty," "Mighty Morphin Power Rangers," "Uncle Scrooge, "Spongebob Squarepants."

According to Comics Alliance, the free comics geared towards an older audience include "The New 52: Futures End," "Guardians of the Galaxy," "Rise of the Magi," amongst others.
