Xiaomi Mi3 Review, News: Handset Called No. 1 M3 Is A Mi3 Clone For Only $200, Specs Of Clone Include Mirrors Best Selling Flagship

Xiaomi Mi3 review, news: The Mi3 handset by three-year-old Chinese tech giant Xiaomi has become one of the country’s best-selling devices, selling a 100,000 units in as fast as 96 seconds. Now, clonemaker No. 1 is offering a $200 handset that mirrors the specs of the Xiaomi Mi3 for only $200.

According to Giz China, No. 1 recently posted details on their latest handset, a quad-core No. 1M3, which the China-focused tech site describes as a “out and out Mi3 knock off.”

The unit is currently out of stock, which means it’s coming soon, in the No.1 website’s listing and is being offered for $199.99 for international customers. It’s a $120 discount from the Xiaomi Mi3.

Specs of the No. 1 M3 include a 1.5Ghz quad-core MT6589T processor, 2GB RAM, 32GB memory, 5-inch 720 display, and 13 mega-pixel rear camera. According to No.1, it will be released with Android 4.2.2 out of the box.
The Xiaomi Mi3 specs include a 5-inch display, 13MP camera, 2 GB of RAM and the internal storage starts at 16GB model. The unit runs on the company’s version of Android, the MIUI V5 which has more than 20 million users.

Giz China notes that although the M3 is a clone, it does have a number of benefits over the original in that it offers dual-sim support and will be available for international users. As earlier mentioned, it is also cheaper than the original Xiaomi Mi3, with its 16GB variant starting at $327.

On the company’s website, it says that they’re based in Shenzen, China and focuses on Android phones. The No. 1 M3 is the company’s sixth handset.
