Big Bang-2NE1 Rank #2,4 on Oricon Daily Chart

Fellow label mates Big Bang and 2NE1 are toppling the music charts in Japan as soon as they released their album.

Big Bang’s new album ‘ALIVE’ and 2NE1’s Japan first full-length album ‘COLLECTION’ released on March 28 has each ranked 2nd and 4th on Oricon daily chart on the same day.

The two album released on the same day each has entered the top of the chart, proving both of their popularity in Japan.

Big Bang’s Japanese new album includes the songs from their domestic 5th mini-album with two additional new songs ‘EGO’ and ‘FEELING.’

Japanese fans are especially interested in the new songs ‘FEELING’ and ‘EGO.’ The song ‘FEELING’ has been selected as the opening theme for the animation ‘Transformer Prime.’ It is a collaboration piece with world-class artist ‘BOYs NOIZE’ from Germany, G-Dragon, and T.O.P.

2NE1 has been reported to do everything possible to complete the album as it is their first full-length album in Japan. 2NE1’s album is to consist of their hit and popular songs in Korea as well as bonus tracks ‘LIKE A VIRGIN,’ ‘She’s So (Outta Control),’ and new song ‘SCREAM.’

The album includes a remake of Madonna’s mega hit ‘LIKE A VIRGIN’ and also a remix of electronic artist M-flo’s 6th album track ‘She’s So (Outta Control)’ where the girls have been featured.

Both groups are to perform in ‘Spring Grove’ in Kobe and Chiba along world-class artists such as ‘LMFAO’ and ‘David Guetta.’
