CNBLUE‘s ‘EAR FUN’ 40,000 Copies Sold in Shortest Time

CNBLUE’s new third mini-album ‘EAR FUN’ has topped chart and set the record for selling more than 40,000 copies in the shortest time.

The group’s new album is a comeback after a year and is selling in record speed surpassing 40,000 copies within three days of its release.

Setting a record of selling more than 40,000 copies is meaningful as month of March is filled with fierce competition in the domestic music market with many top singers making a comeback such as SHINee, Shinhwa, and 2AM.

According to Hanteo chart CNBLUE’s new album ‘EAR FUN’ released on Monday already sold 13,878 (#1) copies on Monday, 13,375 (#1) copies on Tuesday, and 13,400 (#1) copies on Wednesday showing that they are the strong player in the music market.

As CNBLUE is well known for releasing high quality album even in this album included six songs composed of modern rock including title song ‘Hey You,’ ‘I Still Love You,’ ‘Dream Boy,’ ‘Rock’n roll,’ ‘Run,’ and ‘In My Head.’

CNBLUE’s second single in Japan ‘Where You Are’ topped the Oricon weekly chart becoming the first foreign band to do so in 41 years.
