The country pop star decided to gather her friends for a party but absent from such festivity is her best friend. Is Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez secretly fighting? Instead of the Disney star, Swift was seen having fun with 'Royal' singer Lorde.

After Swift's successful 'Red' tour in Australia, her best pals reunited for her garden-themed 24^th birthday party. "The best birthday I've ever had," she captioned one of her party photos.

Lorde previously criticized the 'I Knew You Were Trouble' singer for setting an unattainable standard for younger girls. For Lorde, Swift's "perfection" is unhealthy for it pressures the younger generation.  

Regardless of the criticism, the two did not fight. Instagram photos of Swift and Lorde likewise surfaced which quickly sealed their friendship. With such kind of display, fans of the country singer can't help but wonder about Selena Gomez.

Did Gomez intentionally skip Swift's party because of Lorde's presence? Recently, Lorde disapproved of the 'Come and Get It'. For Lorde, such song degrades women to which the Latina songstress responded: "It's not being feminism if you're tearing another artist down."
