2013 Christmas TV Specials Schedule: Downton Abbey, Doctor Who, Disney Parks Day Parade, Ice Age, Merry Madagascar, And More!

As the 2013 Christmas Day approaches, here is a brief rundown of the TV specials schedule for all your favorites.

Disney Parks Christmas Day Parade

On ABC starting at 10:00am, the 2013 Christmas TV special "Disney Parks Christmas Day Parade" will begin. Featuring Justin Bieber, Christina Aguilera, Cee Lo Green, OneRepublic, Jennifer Hudson and more, the annual Christmas special is a great way to start off your TV specials schedule on Christmas day.

Doctor Who: The Time of the Doctor

BBC will feature the final performance of Matt Smith as the Doctor in the "Doctor Who" 2013 Christmas TV special, titled "The Time of the Doctor." 

For American fans, BBC America will air the episode at 8pm EST, including a Matt Smith documentary that will broadcast right before the Christmas special.

Downton Abbey Christmas Special

But that's not all on the British TV 2013 Christmas specials schedule. ITV will air the two-hour "Downton Abbey" special from 8:30pm to 10:30pm GMT.

Keep an eye out for the return of Shirley MacLaine as Martha Levinson and the introduction of Paul Giamatti as Harold Levinson.

Ice Age: A Mammoth Christmas Special

Merry Madagascar

On the NBC, the 2013 Christmas TV specials extravaganza will take you to "Madagascar," starring Ben Stiller, Chris Rock, David, Schwimmer, and Jada Pinkett-Smith.

"When Santa (Carl Reiner) crashes into their island and ends up with amnesia, the animals decide to deliver his presents themselves. But saving Christmas isn't their only motive - they also see the magic sleigh as their ticket back to New York City."
