Kelly Rowland's boyfriend Tim Witherspoon has finally proposed to her! The former 'Destiny's Child' member publicly confirmed on 'The Queen Latifah Show' that she would walk the aisle very soon.

"He put a ring on it," said the 'X Factor' judge. She likewise showed the audience her cushion-cut engagement ring.

According to the 32-year-old songstress, she and Witherspoon have been keeping their relationship private for year: "It's been a while. We've kept it very, very low - for years, to be completely honest."

When the proposal happened, Rowland was in Bulgaria. Being in a long-distance relationship did not stop Rowland's boyfriend from popping the million-dollar question. Witherspoon cannot wait anymore that he opted to rely on modern technology to propose to his girlfriend:

"He asked me first on Skype and I was like, 'We're so far away from each other! But it was so late. I remember we were both honestly just staring at each other and he asked me," the pop singer recalled the particular late-night video session.

Despite the distance, Rowland had no difficulty in agreeing: "And it was that simple to say yes. I have my best friend to ride through life with."

Rowland was previously betrothed to Dallas Cowboys football player Roy Williams. They parted ways in 2005 just two months before their scheduled marriage.

Fans speculated that Rowland's 'Dirty Laundry' lyrics tell the story of her physically abusive relationship with the athlete: "Hitting the window like it was me and still it shattered. He pulled me out and said, 'Don't nobody love you but me. Not your mama. Not your daddy. And especially not Bey."

To his defense, Rowland's ex-fiancée wrote a series of tweets using the hashtag "#ImNotTheOnlyOneSheDated". Williams said that they decided to part ways for they felt that they were "moving too fast".
