Kingdom Hearts 3 Release Date Strategy Changed? New Information Reveals Square Enix Wants To Focus Its Shift Toward Mobile Phones

Square Enix President Yosuke Matsuda revealed to Japanese gaming magazine Famitsu that they company will focus on mobile phones and application development, leaving many gamers wondering if the Kingdom Hearts 3 release date strategy will change.

"Square Enix plans to "port" older titles of video games, while also releasing new video games designed specifically for portable devices," the Latin Times writes.

"Despite fans immediate concerns, Matsuda did state that Square Enix will still work on their flagship titles, specifically Kingdom Hearts 3, Final Fantasy XV and Tomb Raider."

Most fans agree that Square Enix should not neglect the Reaction Commands feature for Kingdom Hearts 3 found in the series' previous game, SidTech.com reports, leaving gamers wondering if the developer will include it in the highly-anticipated title.

"However, some players find this feature being relied on too much. Square Enix should give it some tweaking and tame it for a change. Anybody who abuses it should get punished since it made things way too easy," the website writes.

"Those are the few features that every fan would want to see making a comeback in Kingdom Hearts 3."

Square Enix recently revealed during an interview that its foreign studies are working on a sequel for Tomb Raider, Examiner.com reports, leaving many wondering if it will delay the release date for Kingdom Hearts 3.
